William J. Collinge, Ph.D., came to Mount St. Mary's from Loyola Marymount University in 1980 as Chair of the Theology Department. He oversaw the creation of the theology major program at the Mount. He served as Chair of the Theology Department for 11 years and has also chaired the Tenure, Rank, and Awards and Faculty Governance Committees. He is the Director of Research and Publications of the College Theology Society. Since 1996 he has served as Chair of the Adams County Heritage Festival, an annual multicultural festival of the arts held in Gettysburg.
