Thane Naberhaus, Ph.D., came to Mount St. Mary's from Georgetown University in 2004 as a Visiting Assistant Professor, and he became a full member of the Philosophy Department the following year.

He has found the Mount's tradition of liberal learning in the pursuit of truth in all its forms to be well suited to his academic interests, which revolve around the nature of truth and our knowledge of it. In addition to teaching core courses and elective courses in contemporary philosophy, Naberhaus has taught the Mount's freshmen core courses and has enjoyed the interdisciplinary approach taken in them.
