Before her work in the nonprofit sector, Kelley dedicated nearly 20 years to higher education, serving in progressively senior student affairs leadership roles at Ursinus College, Hood College, and Columbia College in SC. As Dean of Students at Columbia College, she provided leadership for the Division of Student Affairs, overseeing student engagement, residence life, student conduct, orientation, campus ministry, leadership development, and campus programming. She is passionate about developing students as leaders, strengthening campus communities, and creating environments where every student is known, supported, and empowered to thrive.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Kelley is excited to return to Maryland with her husband Hoyt and to join the Mount community.
