Back to DirectoryProfessor Emeritus of Communication Carl W. Glover, Ph.D., taught courses in classical rhetoric, argument, public relations and public speaking. For five years he led the first-year writing program and directed the University Writing Center. He has published a book, book chapters, and articles on the history of rhetoric, writing centers, and written composition. He has also served as a reader and table leader for the AP English Language and Composition Exam. He holds a master’s degree from Harvard University and a doctorate in rhetoric and composition from the University of Louisville.
