Amie Severino, Ph.D., came to the Mount in 2023. She is an avid neuroscience enthusiast, with interests in general instruction in the neurosciences as well as academic research on neurobiological mechanisms of addiction and related health conditions.
Dr. Severino is joining the Mount after teaching in the Psychology Department of St. Mary's College of Maryland as a Visiting Professor. Prior to that, she studied at UCLA for her postdoctoral fellowship and Wake Forest University for graduate school.
